This seems to be the only one that I scouted, that seems the most lenient when it comes to rules. Some seem too semi-conservative, so if I tried to be a regular on some of those other boards, I'd probably get a perma-ban sooner or later.
After being banned from TechIMO, it took me a few months before I began looking for a new tech forum to call home.

People here are interested in the stuff I'm interested in. The stuff we're interested in tends to draw more intelligent and interesting people than a lot of other stuff people could be interested in. That makes the discussion satisfying enough that I usually don't feel the need to go looking anywhere else for entertainment or information of certain kinds.
