Sounds fine to me, then again I'm no Simon and Garfunkel fan.
You wanna hear a shitty remake of a song, listen to this gem:

That's awesome
I'm going to make it my mission to share that sonic brilliance with everyone I know.
edit: Brian Johnson can't sing for AC/DC anymore. Perfect, they already have a great replacement lined up and ready to rock!
I doubt there was much pitch correction, if any at all. I've seen Disturbed live more than once and the singer doesn't need, or use, any artificial pitch correction. It wouldn't be a bad cover if the vocal pitch correction wasn't so painfully audible. Kills the feeling of emotion for me.
Every song sounds like the Cookie Monster is singing.
Listen to the Cookie Monster vomit on this remake:

Surprisingly, I will say the Stone Sour covers of the Stones and Metallica are pretty damn good - have heard them both in the car and been straight up fooled until catching some vocals.
Oddly, I like this one as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxYVEQVn20c (Eleanor Rigby, covered by Godhead)

Have you ever heard David sing live? Seriously he would rather piss on an auto tuner then use one. There was a tad bit of excessive echo\reverb yes but that was for effect. I could detect zero auto correction.
I liked it. A bit more emotion than the original. The original is still great though.
Really? That's the one you complain about? There's been a shitload of rock remakes of classic songs that ruin the original impact because of the genre change, and you whine about the one that actually keeps the same emotion and feeling intact? There's not even any electric guitar like you'd expect, it's acoustic guitar and piano... I think it's a shitload better than most remakes.
He is just kind of naturally pitchy. Then again, I suppose that is one of the distinctions with his voice. I'm not really much of a Disturbed fan, but I think they did a pretty decent job with it.
