LOL check out my broken RAID-0 haha.
It didn't take long for the writes to become totally broken.
Due to lack of TRIM?
Curious if that is something I have to look forward to, but I guess I can always just re-image anyway.
The Sandforce SSDs have CG on the drives, like the older Vertex's did. You don't have to worry about lack of TRIM in RAID when you have CG on the drive's firmware.

Anyone on this thread own a OWC ultra 50gb?
Or has anyone see other threads/forums with users posting their experiences?
Only one I come across is a THG thread....
someone in another thread claimed there was some benchies for it here, but a search revealed nothing in the thread...
My triforce, err, tri-RAID, numbers.
Writes are seemingly a bit broken due to the drives previous Vista usage (no TRIM), & me being too lazy to secure erase them all before this.
I'm happy overall though.
Two Intel X25-M 80GB G2 + one Intel X25-M G1
n7,
So you're suppose to do a secure erase on an SSD before you format and install an OS?
I just got an SSD recently and people told me that the procedure to installing an OS should be no different from an HDD because with AHCI enabled, TRIM will automatically fix and keep the SSD at peak performance. I'm getting the impression from you and some people that I should do a secure erase before installing an OS on a used SSD. Should I do that? What program are you using? How should I do it?
are these numbers normal for the 60gb Agility + W7?
So basically i don't get TRIM, though supposedly the newest Intel driver gets me some kind of TRIM?
Benchmarks for OCZ Agility 60GB:Hit me w/ some CrystalDiskMark; i know it better.
Those look okay, though, from what i know.

Apparently not...

I don't know what's happening as that contradicts what I originally heard.
