As you get older, do you value intelligence in the opposite sex more?

I've always valued intelligence too, even back when I was in 9th grade or middle school. stupid people always pissed me off. I'm not saying that I'm smart, but at least I don't act like an idiot.

oh, as a side not, the SO is also more preferable if their intelligence is in a different field from yours, that just provides for countless hours of intellectual conversation, and both of you can teach each other your field of study, or interest.

I find intelligent women attractive, but I have only found very few that can keep me interested in conversation. Anymore I just go do my own thing during the day, and she does her own thing (since our jobs are totally different) and we just meet up for sex, which really isn't all that good either.

It is tiring trying to be interested in the conversations that she starts.

I value intelligence more, but I am becoming more aware that there are different kinds of intelligence. I've known a few women that are highly intelligent, but have trouble keeping up with the demands daily life.

Intelligence is important, but it is one of many charcter traits that have become more desirable as I've matured. Social aptitude, effectiveness, confidence, and common sense are all equally as important as intelligence in my opinion.

Edit: Just for clarity, having a nice rack will never hurt a woman's chances of getting with me
