But seriously, I'm in college and I guess it's because of the whole asian family thing... Most girls that are brought up were not very mature. And mostly it's their parents fault.

White woman are more mature, and believe me, some of them are VERY smart. Enough that scares me.

LOL at Terrorism101. My Irish buddy calls Koreans the Irish of the Orient. It's so true. I'm 30 and married and my Korean friends are the only ones that still get into fights. You'd think they'd have grown up by now.

As for Atomic, I had a friend who was 1/2 German 1/2 Korean. She was a hotty and a nympho. She left her diary in my apartment one day and after about 6 months of trying to return it to her I was bored and decided to read it. While she was in Paris, she would randomly pick guys off the street and just sleep with them. Sigh...too bad no one ever did that with me.

In college, we had a caucasian Chinese teacher. I never took Chinese but my Chinese friends were flabbergasted at how good she was.

I'm Korean, yet I was born and raised in Michigan. Also went to school at Dartmouth (in rural New Hampshire), lived in Boston, and now live in San Fran. Think it gives me an interesting perspective on this whole situation. Can't say that I'm really familiar with this Asian "youth" riceboy phenomenon. Although I'm seeing and understanding it more now that I'm out here.

There are a few things that bother me though. I'm flattered when non-Asians say, "you're cute" or "you're a handsome guy", but not so much when I'm told, "you're really good looking - for an asian guy" or that I look "exotic". I feel those statements are loaded and feel like backhanded compliments. They come across as "I don't like Asians usually - but you're not half bad" or that I don't conform to someone's standard definition of good looking, but they wouldn't mind dabbling a little.

I don't care if whites or whoever date Asian women. I only get pissed when an individual, even Asian, predominantly pursues Asian women (yellow fever, infatuation, whatever) based on their belief in antiquated and erroneous stereotypes. Usual indicators are when someone says stuff about Asian women being loyal, quiet, or exotic. I think that all they're really saying in the end is that they believe Asian women are more submissive and passive and less resistant.

I'm probably not articulating myself quite right, but don't really feel like typing out an extended discourse here.

naw...i have nothing against koreans....they make up for a good 25% of my friends...some good friends too....but im the one that ends up breaking up the fights or handing them more drinks so they'll be too wasted to fight...im the peaceful mediator...
but i think alcohol has something to with it too...or maybe koreans are alergic to alcohol...
i have korean friends that i *ahem* toke up with on a regular basis...my baking buddies...they are the nicest people on this planet...so i think it may be the alcohol...i dunno...
but i get pissed sometimes too...not as easy but ive had my moments...

i like asian girls more than white girls for some weird reason. dunno, maybe because almost all of my culture is practically chinese, and i have absolutely no cultural background from my finnish side. i do think that other fellow halfbreed girls are hot though. half-breed pride!

I'm all about dating other races...South Indian myself. Whoever said that it all depends on who you grew up with is ABSOLUTELY right! I grew up in small Texas towns, often the only Indian guy in school. Accordingly, I find myself mostly attracted to cute southern white girls with that oh-so-sexy Southern Drawl. Unfortunately, I've found while growing up that these same girls aren't particularly attracted to dating a non-white guy so my dating life has been rather sparse.

As for Indian women, while I find many very attractive ones, it has been difficult to find one that appeals to me. I find a lot of these girls have the same problem-hanging around the "gangsta" wannabe Indian guys who went to Texas high-schools with huge Indian populations. They are so NOT like me.

A few black girls were totally after me in high school, I guess because I look a bit like Carlton on the "Fresh Prince of Bellaire" The tall, slim black girls with high cheekbones and full lips I find very sexy!

I think the perfect girl for me would be half white, half Indian. Girls like that are RARE, but VERY HOT! I can't speak for their personalities because I fear they might have all sorts of issues.

anyway i have no problems dating other cultures.. however other cultures do.. infact the sterotyped based on skin or race is very predominat in school.. The ones who know me know me well. The ones who I asked out and got rejected later tried to make their way to my bed.. however I put them down.

Its like I drive a BMW to school sometimes. At first looks I look like a normal kid.. they are looking at the flashy kids with money.. or teh psudo kids who claim to have money. They run after them. So when I ask women out its usually a 'no'. But later when they realise their mistake they try make their way into the relationship...And I just walk away knowing that's not the girl I want.

Anyway the bottom line is my signature.

Personally one thing I hate is older guys (like 40+) getting married to asian girls who are very young. It's just so pathetic that they need to have some young flesh to screw because they're too butt ugly to get a girl from their own country. THAT is on the edge to abuse of young girls....they might be over 18, but not much, and it sickens me.
