I don't agree with what she said. Maybe it's an American thing, idk. Never really witnessed any of that when I was in university or college. Was only a year ago. My GF is Chinese, in college, and she hates being dependent on her family. She originally came here to study though, so she's been away from them for a while.

As for the cell phones in libraries. EVERYBODY does that, and it pisses me off. More their obnoxious ringtones than anything else. Put it on silent people, or turn it off.
