Alot of these problems have roots in overbearing parents with high expectations that don't actually do what they preach.

IE your mom is waitress who gives you $10 to go to college and expects you to become a doctor. You ultimately end up living in their basement because that plan is a fail.

You might want to pickup some kind of Highschool + cert job.

Become a mechanic, paramedic, etc. Obtaining the cert would signal you are ending your "large gap" of unemployment.

I wouldn't run out and get a sub-ohm tank and 100W monster or anything, but yeah, you're more likely to be satisfied with some kind of 20W starter kit.
