i have been a long time member in emuforums so i know many things about emulations and the how to set them up........you can ask questions about them here but
1.i dont want any flame on emulators are waste of time and things
2.no asking for pirated games/bios

i want to get a psp 2000. im gonna assume it will have whatever latest firmware. can i patch it for homebrew and MAME? n where to get that firmware?

yeah its it pcsx2....its working quite fine and there is a ton of improvement over it from what it was two years back

u would need
1.dual core<e7 or e8 series>clocked 3 ghz or higher
2.a monster video card<<nothing less than 8600>>
3.ram<1 gb>
4.an original os2 bios dumped from ur ps2
to play games smothly

remember this project is a work in progress.....its absolutely normall to see bugs and some games which are not running.....see compatibility list at the site...

for xbox there is one active emu<cxbx>there are some coders who are trying to run games....its main developer cautsik has been inactive for a long time but has provided source code to other devs......they have got some games like halo/futurerama and turok running .....xbox emulation is a bit tough coz separate games require emulation of separate libraries


2.some one has got naruto 6 or 9<o_0>the wii game playable on dolphin<a game cube emulator> but thats the only game which works......

dont expect ps3's/xbox 360 emus till 2010 i would say....their architecture is very complex and unless some of it is implemented on our desktop computers i dont see a way out

epsx was the one i think i used to use...worked great

what's the recommended path for emulating NES/SNES on Nintendo DS?

download the latest epsxe from its home site

download the plugins<<petes for video/eternals for audio/moby2 for cd/iso>>

configure them....chose as nice in petes driver config menu

u need to put ur bios taken from ur ps1 in ur bios folder........

go through help file for the rest........

Like the hi-res ocarina of time pack but with other games.

How do I create my own emulator in C++? What is the domain of knowledge I will need to create an emulator? I guess I should start with something simple like an NES emulator.
