asm debuger and compiler?

Not sure exactly, but I do know that asm code isn't compiled, it's assembled ( with an assembler ). Maybe this will help you in your search ( aka Google it ).

If you want to learn I would suggest using a simulator; I used on once called SPIM, I was for learning the MIPS Asm language.

I'm assuming you're wanting to learn x86 aseembly. You didn't specify.

A lot of assembly code is generic to the chip that it will run on.
