Question aspect ratio of movie

I have ordered jack synder justice league 4k but came to know that is 4:3 only . How do i make it full screen on pc with powerdvd 21 ultra? Is there a way? I will install my SAMSUNG VIEWFINITY S8 32 INCHES monitor on 31st december

What are you trying to do? By default it should fill the full height of the monitor and have black bars on both sides.

If you were to zoom it to fill the width of the monitor, it would crop off the top and bottom of the image which is far less desirable.

If you were to stretch the aspect ratio, then everything will look short and fat.

You are looking for a solution to something that isn't a problem. They wanted it to be 4:3 aspect ratio, so that is how you watch it.

i mean this movie will not be in 16:9 which is normal for every movie and will be a little weird no? as it will have black bars on left and right and not on top and bottom

imax is nearly 4:3. so when you get the disc and watch it at home on your 16:9 tv it looks stupid because it isnt filling a giant theater screen that is wider than your eye's fov. you could sit really close to the tv but it isnt the same.

You shouldn't stretch it. It was made in that aspect ratio. You either warp the picture by stretching it horizontally, or cut off large parts of the top and bottom by zooming the picture. The movie is in 4:3. That is the director's choice. You should honour it.

Tilt the top of your monitor further away from you, and the bottom closer, until it is almost horizontal. Now it will look stretched. Cover the left/right sides with cardboard. It will look exactly like this:
