I have a ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 2 Rev2.0 and I'm considering the purchase of a Dual Core CPU for this board.
From the ASRock site the fastest dual core listed for this board is the E6300 (R0) 2.8 @1066.
Yet there site lists the Core 2 Duo E7500 (R0) 2.93 @ 1066 as being a compatible Core 2 Duo.
Therefore would the newer Intel Dual Core E6500 (R0) 2.93 @ 1066 work on this board? As noted it is not listed on there site currently.
I will be running the ASUS 4650 1G AGP Video Card along with 2 x 1M DDR400 initially and then move to 2 x 1M DDR2 667
