There's no "debate" and the OS "seeing" has nothing to do with this. The BIOS handles memory addressing then lets the OS know what is available to it via memory map. The /3GB switch has nothing to do with DRAM addressing.Not really. The computer can see all 4 GB, but 32-bit OS's can only address up to 3.5 GB. There's some debate as towards whether the remainder can be utilized by programs or set aside for video buffers, as well as the /3GB switch
i wan to flash bios on dos.. unfortunately in window when i insert floopy disk in drive, it said that A\ is not accessible. No ID address mark was found on the floppy disk.. why this is happen can somebody help me?
can use thumbdrive to flash bios? i just format to msdos startup disk.. n copy asrflash n bios 3.19.. then just boot form dos? like floppy..

i'm interested in upgrading my cpu (have e6600 right now) on 4coredual-sata2
thinking of e8400, first thing i notice is that it's fsb is 1333mhz, so it will underclock the fsb right off the bat
i'm wondering if this cpu even works
does bios 3.19a support 5770 card?
