Just got 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 a few days ago. Tried to oc it. when I inscrease the FSB to 280MHZ, the bios will only post my memory as a single channel, 1024 mb. Also in bios, it shows I only have a 1gb memory in slot 1. However, my cupz shows my system memory as 2048 mb, dual channel. When I lower the FSB, it would not recongize my second memory, unless I set my bios back to default , shut down my pc for a while and power it back. So what is the issue? Because I have a bad memory slot or FSB was too high for my motherboard.

I have had the 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0 motherboard for a couple years. It is not an Overclocker's MB. So, don't even try. if you do try you probably will not get much more than 280 or so out of the FSB before it crashes.. I can only get an e6300 duo2core cpu to about 286 fsb (stock setting is 266 fsb). in other words from about 1.8 ghz to about 2.01 ghz. with bios 2.10. It is a cheap $60.00 motherboard that is worth $60.00.

why you rmemory is giving you problems I have no clue, mine never gave me problems... I don't oc memory.
