In the 1.90a there's another option for PCIE for instance, not only fan setting or cpu step.
Yes but some option are the same for everyone like what Echo TPR disable is ?Originally posted by: cpmee
There is no one "best" settings for all. Each system varies by the cpu used, the video card used, personal preferences, and importantly, the ram used.

I was hoping I could pick some people's brains here. I have been trying to get my mobo stable for a week now and am about at my wits end. I have been getting reboots/black screens during 3dmark06 when running a FSB of 295 or greater but can get stable at 290. The problem I have is that this stability only comes when I am waterchiling my system which in turns also cools down my case temps ( as low as 21C in case and can game for hours on end). If I run with no waterchiller (basic watercooling only) I can only game for 1/2 hour or so (at fsb 290)before it gets all screwey (reboots, black screens, errors, etc...). At first I thought it was my ddr ram but since trying ddr2 (geil pc28400) it is still doing the same thing. I also get some error that is along the lines "d3d error, cant find device" this seems to happen during 3dmark06 when changes from one test to another and screen flickers once or twice then all black, then error message. I tried installing 1.90 bios and still does the same. My video card is a Powercolor 3850 agp and it worked flawlessly in my previos setup with a P4C800e and P4 3.2e. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also as a sidenote I can get my ddr2 to run for hours when chilled at 3/3/3/6 cr1 with volts at low with a fsb of 290 (ddr2 580)!!

You could try setting vagp to high. Other than that, I would say you need to do the vagp mod and a cpu volt mod. What cpu are you using now ?
There isnt any reason to run with a Tras of 6, as there isnt any performance increase running that low, and may in fact benchmark slower than a Tras of 9 or higher. A Tras too low risks data corruption.

Others have also reported a PCIE sweetspot at 109, 111, and even 117 mhz. It depends on your card, so experiment. Going over 120mhz isnt generally recommended.

What do you mean by dont work ? Does it only work if one stick is in ? Or do you only see 3gb ? Look thru previous postings. IIRC, the most anyone has been able to use on this board is about 3gb.
