I'm not looking for it to be best of the best but i dont wanna be limited too much either.
I was using a E4300 with a X1900GT on mine and it was a night and day difference at stock speeds, and when I overclocked the E4300 it was even better. You will see a HUGH improvement over what your running now, and you can find a used E4300 on the boards pretty cheap, and may already be a proven good overclocker.
BTW the review link I posted they were using a 7900GTX 16x pci-e card for the review, a 16x pcie card against a $245 mobo with a 16x slot
At some cases it was on par, slightly below, or above a $250 board with a 16x slot using a 16x card, so Id say you really wont notice much if at all.
Also I stand corrected, the review says there was no volt overclocking option, I havent used mine in over a year, and its dead so I am not sure if they made that a option after the review with a bios update. May want to check that, but in anycase you cant go wrong with this board unless your going for all out gotta have the best, which again, why would you be even considering something like this?
