Well Everyone i have found the first problem with Bios update 2.10.
I installed the update and everything was fine until i started playing Fear Extraction point and Need for speed Carbon i started noticing graphic corruptions with the images , at first i thought it may of been my GPU was overclocked to much then i thought it may of been the overclock with the CPU After doing a complete reinstal of windows it kept happening and i was just going to RMA my Gainward card when i thought i would drop the bios back to 1.90 and voila no more problems. so if you having issues drop back the update .
If you are fine good on ya lol.
I just thopught id let you know guys.

Ok Just installed the v2.1 BIOS.
My PC would lockup when I enabled that Pipeline option, thank you for the forum member who discovered this! As I didn't know what was causing my system to hard lock until I read their post. Luckily it appears the 1.9 BIOS seems to disable it by BIOS, as after applying that update my freezes went. It was only when I re-enabled that I confirmed it was that setting.
I'm running Corsair Value Select DDR1-400 2x512mb. Going to reboot now and re-enable it and see if after the update if the setting still locks the PC.
My E6300 is running at 50C according to Core Temp v0.93.
Can anyone suggest good RAM settings dor DDR1-400 ram for this mobo?

Ok, my system still hard locks enever that Pipleline option under Advanced Host Config is set to either Enabled/Disabled. Setting it to AUTO does not cause my system to lock up.
Core Temps are the same, 50C.
Edit: Also just noticed that the system will hard lock after a short while if V-Link is set to Fast. The pipeline option will hard lock windows within a couple of minutes, whereas V-Link will lock it after about 20mins or so.
Basically it seems if I set everything to AUTO the system is stable but start to change settings to try and tweak the system I get hard locks ;(.

I just picked up one of these motherboards, along with a Core 2 Duo E6600 and Ballistix 2X1GB kit of DDR2-800.
The motherboard came with v1.70 BIOS installed and I found that I was getting many errors when I booted up into MemTest86+, using the default BIOS settings. I twiddled around with the BIOS's memory settings and managed to get to the point of only occasional errors on MemTest86+ (on test #7), but this was with the memory running at DDR2-553, high voltage, CAS 5, and Flexibility option enabled.
I decided to go ahead and update the BIOS to v2.10, even with the memory instability. (I might have done been better to install some DDR, PC3200 memory, before flashing the BIOS, for better stability, but I didn't explore this option.) After the BIOS flash and resetting all the options to default, the memory errors seem to have been solved at both DDR2-553 and DDR2-667 speeds (using the default, i.e., Auto for the most part, memory options).
The conclusion is that it would be a good idea to run MemTest86 when you first set up this motherboard, if you are running DDR2 memory, and you may find it necessary to update to something newer than v1.70 BIOS before you can get a stable system with this memory. (I don't know if this problem is related to using a Conroe processor, as well; nor, do I know how many types and brands of DDR2 memory are going to have problems with this board and earlier BIOSes.)
Now that I've got windows installed, I noted a couple of curiousities with CPU-Z (v1.37). It sees my processor as running at 2.3GHz on a 256 MHz bus (instead of 2.4GHz on a 266 MHz bus). Also, CPU-Z seems to be unable to read the memory bus speed on this motherboard, though it is reporting my memory timings.
Is there another utility that might better detect the memory bus speed on this board to confirm what it is? Sandra Lite doesn't seem to read this, either.

I just upgraded my memory to 2 GB of OCZ Gold 800DDR. It's working very well. Here are a couple of pointers for you.
1. Don't let the FSB on auto. It will set it at 256 like you said. If you set it to 266, then CPUZ would show 266, like it's suposed to.
2. If you set the memory speed to 666, CPUZ would not show the the mem speed. It will leave it blank. The SANdra results would be also poor. Instead, set the memory to 533. Then CPUZ would show the memory ratio set to 1:1. I'm running FSB at 312. CPUZ shows my memory at the same speed, or 312 X 2 = 624. The Sadra results are very good. I'm getting 6465 / 6453.

Has anyone noticed the performance of the ASRock 775Dual-Vista on the most recent Anandtech Nvidia 680i motherboard review. I was very impressed with the performance of this board with very high end PCI-E video card (7900GTX). It's generally withing 3-5% of other boards in the gaming benchmarks, and is essentially equal in the non-gaming tests. That's quite a bit better than I expected. I've eyed this card for some time, but am hoping for a bios 'breakthrough" that would push overclocking limits up a little bit.
