Anyone else having issues updating the sound drivers ?
When I ran the Windows Vista update advisor the other day it warned that it didn't know about the sound drivers.
Looked on the ASRock site and saw Vista 1.53 drivers... and on Realtek's own site later Vista 1.56 drivers (which include notes that they are for XP too and for ALC888 chipset).
However trying to use either of those downloads to update my Win XP MCE installation with 1.53/1.56 both begin with "No driver supported in this driver package".
My taskbar Realtek HD Audio Manager says it's 5.10.00.5273 and ALC888 and my notes from setting up the system back in December say I used the motherboard bundled CD with HD Audio Realtek 2.14 Driver R1.41.
Anyone able to make some sense of this for me ?
