Just a warning about this board. If you have the money to upgrade from AGP (if that's the case), stay away from this thing. I may just be unlucky, but I along with some others (who admit it) have issues getting this thing to even work properly (boot/not crash) on any SATAI or SATAII hard drive; had to spend an extra $80 to get an IDE HD to work properly. My Ram also only runs at 333MHz (probably my fault though for mixing Value Select Cas 2.5 and Cas 3). Just a few things to keep in mind, you might save a few bucks but waste your "priceless" life troubleshooting this POS.

I had no problems with this board at all. I loaded XP pro straight onto a brand new SATAII seagate with no other drives at all. Its easy to OC with and IMO is a great board at a great price.

Same here. Installed Windows just fine to a Seagate 7200.8 connected to the SATAII controller (though the drive itself is SATA1), no drivers required. I've had no problems other than a few overclocking quirks, but for $70 I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

i also have this board with 2 x 1GB sticks of OCZ and had the stability problems others have encountered with 1T command rate. i went to OCWORKBENCH and discovered that thread. in that thread it is suggested to set the read preamble at 5.0ns and async latency to 7.0ns which i did and it solved the problem for me. now running my 3700 sandy at 2.46 GHZ at 1T command rae via 245 HTT, memory at 5\6 divider, 10X multiplier, NB-CPU & NB-SB at 800, default voltage for CPU and normal voltage for the memory and running async. this motherboard is a good investment for those that do not want to get rid of their AGP video cards just yet and is good enough that when you are ready for PCI-E it is a good board for that too.
