I ran 3dmark05 with a x2 3800+ @ 2.6ghz and BFG 6800GT @ 400/1100... Got something like 5600 and change.

The main problem with the board is the OCW Beta bios is too buggy (doesn't reboot, crashes) and you can't overclock well on 1.21 (Max HHT is like ~270 but ~380 on the beta bios)

You're joking right? Are you also surprised that XTPE doesn't hit 26K/11K like SLI 7800GTX's?

No we have Non-Ultra Non-GT these cost 175 dollars. The x800 XT PE cost 2x as much if not more lol.

Thanks that confirms my score are low for 05... grrr I am going ot try a different 6800 later tonight.
You wouldn't want to install Rivatuner and turn your card into a quadro and test your SpecViewPref8.1 score would you? (this is AGP right) and do you know your stock Core and DDR speeds, mine are 325/700

For now I have removed the 6800 in favor of a 6200TC as part of my quiet PC investigations (this is a business machine and it's now almost silent!), but I could switch things around in a couple of days after I complete some current deadline work. I have RT of course (for 16 p operation) but I will have to install SpecView benches. Yes, my card is AGP and default clocks are also 325/700. My tests were run w/default 12 p.

Was able to tweak some settings in the bios and i am up to 3200 in 05.

Tried another 6800 today (Leadtek) with same overclock and i got 99% same score in 3dmark and Spec8.1

Either a bios or AGP driver problem...

What are other people getting in 3dmark05 on their 6800nu's? I only got 4300 or so with my 6800GT at Ultra speeds... (granted, I have a slower CPU, but it's mostly a GPU-limited benchmark)

I can't say I'm surprised. Some good things come out of that forum, but I think the admin might be on just a little bit of a power trip.

About their site being hacked...I don't know, I haven't heard anything about it (other than what he posted).

I wish I were skilled enough to do those Vcore/Vdimm mods (once I get the board), but I'd be afraid of something slipping and frying my motherboard.

Yeah, I agree that admin is a little odd. Here's an odd thread where he just asked DFI members to say how bad they felt after spending so much on a board while the ASrock exists...

In the review its said that you can have upto 4GB of useable RAM but according to Asrock's site, you get only 3.5GB to use out of 4GB????

Also the Sata raid configuration should give better performance right than what was posted here??? would that be a driver issue??

2 questions

1) If im understanding the manual right my one sata drive will be the only internal drive so i daont need to install any drivers(the will be no raid just 1 drive)

2) How do i (newbie to overclocking) overclock this to 2.2 or 2.4 with stock heatsink.

- First you need to update bios 1.2 or higher

CPU Menu
- Set Mem Spd to 166 (333)
- Set CPU Overclock to PCI Async
- Rise HTT to 220 (for 2200) 240 (for 2400)
- Set voltage to highest you can go (1.45v i think for that CPU it might be 1.4)
- Set Multiplier to 10x
- Turn off Speed Specturm (i think?, i always do)

Chipset Menu
- Set NB->HT or something like that to 800

Run two instances Prime95 for a couple of hours and report back.
