ASRock ConRoeXFire-eSATA2 LGA775 mobo?

Anybody know anything about this board?

says it supports conroe but I want to know how it runs. Are there any other boards for under $100 that support Conroe?

Plan on E6300 and to slightly OC to maybe like 2.4 on air, needs to have PCI-E, and atleast 2 PCI slots, needs PATA for atleast 3 devices, and under $100.

nope it has pci-e,agp,ddr and ddr2 slots.
@young gun-The board u mentioned is good.But it lacks the overclocking options.U'd be better of gettingan MSI 965P neo for under $100 or a gigabyte GAP965-S3(not sure of model name)

On what are you basing this assessment?

From a feature standpoint, the ConroeXfire loses the benefit of AGP and DDR backwards compatibility that the VSTA offers, but adds the following that the VSTA lacks:

Intel i945p chipset
PCI Express 4x slot (handy for a second Gig-E card or Crossfire setup)
4 SATA II ports including support for RAID 5 and 10
2 eSATA II ports (allows use of external SATA devices)
Gigabit Ethernet
Firewire ports (2)

.. all for around $25-$30 more than the VSTA board.

VR-Zone did a writeup on the board and gave it an Editor's Choice award, noting that it only slightly lags behind the 975 chipset boards (5% or less) in terms of performance for half the price... (VR Zone Review)

OCWorkbench said this about the board:

"Compared to the 975X board from ASUS and another ASRock's board 775Dual-VSTA based on the PT880Pro/8237 chipset, this board's performance is impressive. In fact, the results shows that it is not far off when compared tot he 975X board running at 1MHz higher than its default 266MHz. In fact, in one of the tests, it even overtook the ASUS Board by just a tiny bit."

.. so overall I'm going to have to say your comments about this board are simply incorrect. Newegg reviews from folks who actually own this board are very positive (4 eggs average).

So this board does not overclock well? Would I be able to get a e6300 to...lets say...2.5ghz?

Since when there's a real budget that can overclock well. Rare if ever happens.
