I have been trying to OC this system for over a week. So far, it is unstable past 3.6GHz. I am sure if I ran at 3.6GHz, it would eventually fail the tests.
Suggested settings from RS:
Try:
PLL: 1.860 up from 1.800
QPI/VTT: 1.39 up from 1.1
CPU voltage: 1.35V
PCH voltage: 1.12 from 1.05
lower ram ratio to remove ram from the equation
set QPI ratio to 32x
Set PCI express to 100
Set CPU/PCI express microvoltage adjustments to 800mVs (if you have this option).
I set the BIOS with these settings as best as possible to 3.8GHz. I can run IntelBurn Test @ Standard Stress and complete without error. If I up the Stress Level to High, it fails. Is using High Stress Level the problem and I should only be using Standard?
