I finally recieved all of my new parts for my 4670k build, but it seems that the motherboard is defective. I have tested the psu in another pc and it is working. When I try to power on there is zero activity, no error led's or lights of any kind. I've tested each stick of ram in every slot combination. The only item I cant test is the cpu, but I would think even if it were bad that there would be some activity when trying to power on. I've triple checked all connections and jumpers, cleared cmos, tried bios A and B. I did not have a hard drive installed at the time, but I don't think that would effect the powering on. Has anyone ever had a bad battery on a new motherboard? Any suggestions?
