I can get it for $43 shipped new. Not sure if its worth it. I got Mass Effect and COD4(PC). Would you all recommend something else over it? I would rent but I always feel like I'm being rushed to beat it when I rent. Gamefly and other renting sites are a joke.

~10 hours to complete, much of that spent running from place to place
No multiplayer

You be the judge. I'm glad I rented it personally. I'll probably buy it when I get it for $15 used and EB Games has a buy 2 get 1 sale.

I paid $25 used for it on the PS3. I think it's a lot of fun, the graphics are pretty stunning, especially when you're running across rooftops of the big cities. There's some monotony in the game, and really there should be more side missions and more interesting missions, but overall it's a decent game, I plan to finish it.

The travelling times are tedious and annoying after awhile, and I could honestly do without the ""future" stuff.

It seemed like everyone here who was experiencing bugs was playing the PS3 version. I played the 360 version and didn't have any issues, FWIW. I don't know if that is true in general.

It's supposed to be disappointing... but I don't know I've been under a rock with my PC.

I don't know what everyone else was expecting out of the game, but I agree with Mugs ... I personally paid $40 for it from BB this week, and I'm enjoying every minute of it. While there appears to be some monotony to the game, it's very fluid and pretty bug free for me (360 version.) While the lack of MP sucks, it's a damn fun game to blow some time on.

i can see why they didn't release a demo now. If you were to play one mission/level of this game from a demo about 15 times, it would be = to playing the full version.

Every mission is the same, every task is the same, the worlds look the same. The story is lame and drags on. It gets old after about 1 hour.

I paid full $60 and was just a wee bit bummed it wasn't longer. For under $45 it's definitely worth it. If you don't think you'll play it more after you buy it you can sell it for near what you paid for it yourself.

Despite what ric1287 said, each city is fairly different and each city seems to have a different guard difficulty. It's tougher to take on the later guards in Jerusalem in large numbers then the guards you first encounter in Acre. Each assassination has to be tackled differently, and as long as you don't just run up and shank the guy every time like a fool it'll remain fun till the end. You need to do approach things differently each time to get any fun out of it.

I just bought it yesterday for $60, and I think it's really fun. I can definitely see where it could start to get repetitive, but things like that don't really bother me.

As someone already said, the travel times between cities do get long.

My friend has it for his XBox 360. I'd say rent it. It'll take two rentals at the utmost.

I bought this game from BB last Saturday for $60, but still haven't opened it. I think I will run down there today and get $20 back.

Yes, for $43 for sure. I paid $60, and am happy with it. I find it fun, and engaging, with a good story. My fav game of the year? No, but fun for sure. I really enjoy that time period, and the factual details are well done.

If I was looking for a new game, I'd pay that much... amazon has it right now for $45 so other people can get in on this.

I like the game, i cant think of another game where you could run around the environment so freely, you can really go anywhere easily. This is really where the game is fun for me, the exploration factor, i just love moving through the city. The story is ok, keeps you moving along. The interrogation missions (what you have to do to get the assassination memory) get repetitive, but then i was thinking, "how many games really have you doing something completely different every step of the way" all games eventually boil down to repetitiveness imo. For what it's worth, it is a fun game, and i enjoyed it a lot. I will say again, the freedom of the running/scaling walls/ jumping around the city has got to be the best i've seen from any other games.

I loved moving around the cities until the last 3 assassinations. Then it became frustrating because anything you did attracted entirely too much attention from the guards.

Yeah that's the worst part about the game. The way they make it harder for the end levels is just "They spot you easier" and "Let's send 900 guards after him".

I just picked this up off eBay for $30 last week.

Here are my thoughts:
As a new owner of a 360, I really only got it for Sports and Racing games. 1st person shooters are supposed to be on a PC with a mouse and a keyboard and honestly, this game is long and repetitive. You have to save citizens in the cities, climb towers called view points to fill in your maps, and can pickup flags, etc... It's the same thing over and over, but the maps are large and you can climb almost anything. The engine itself is really good and I'm impressed with the game overall. Camera angles could be slightly better and a lot of time can be wasted riding or walking from city to city. The HUD makes it nice in finding your next target or objective.

Overall, I rate the game 8/10.
Graphics gets a 9/10
Gameplay gets a 8/10 (I usually give 1st person shooters 5/10)
Fun factor is 7/10 only because of the pace of the game
Storyline 7/10

The game is worth the going rate on eBay. Chances are you can buy it from someone who played through it and is ready to move on. The environment is fun to run around in and it's definitely fun to kill people and then blend into the crowd to get away.
