I'm having some problems getting my CPU temps were I would expect.
MSI GD-55
i5 2500K
Hyper 212+
While not overclocked, my idle temps are in the mid 30's. However, weather here has jumped recenly to 86 degrees, so it is hot in the house. When I run CPUID, I see the Assembly Temp at 86 degrees.
I was expecting to see CPU idle temp in the high 20's. I have taken off the Hyper 212 re-did the TIM (about 4 times now). No improvement. There are 3 120MM fans + 1 80MM in the case.
Could the Assembly temp be causing me to have high idle temps? If so, what is the delta (typically) between Assembly temps and CPU Idle temps?
EDIT: Load CPU Temps (@ 3.3G) are 58C - 63C.
