Well looks like we got shafted. Just FYI.....
Me: Hi, I placed an order yesterday for the ASUS GTX460 1 GB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card ENGTX460 DirectCU TOP/2DI/1GD5 - Overclocking Edition
I made the order when they were $175 each. I just got an email stating that the order has been cancelled due to some kind of price screw up.
Being a small business owner who honors when I make a mistake, I would like to file a complaint about Amazon abruptly cancelling the order without any compensation. Thank you.
David: Hi Steve, I'm very sorry to hear about that. I understand how this policy could be upsetting. I will forward this feedback to our business team right away. I am very sorry that we can't compensate you for your canceled order.
Me: Thank you for forwarding this. I know people that have had the card on order for months, and just had the order cancelled. I was lucky enough to not have to wait that long, but I think that was a pretty large mess up on Amazon's part. I hope that feedback at least gets to someone in the business team
David: I personally would be very upset if a situation like this occurred with me. I will make very certain that this is brought to the attention of someone who implements our policies on price errors.
Is there anything else I could do for you tonight, Steve?
Me: No, thats it, thank you.
David: Alright, Steve. Have yourself a nice evening. Thank you for visiting Amazon.com, we hope to see you again soon!
