Asus A7S333 vs. ECS K7VTA3

Im in Canada and these two boards are the same price, ($102)....Any suggestion on which one i should get ?

I wont be overclocking or using RAID.

I'll be using:

XP 2000+
512 PC2100
Sapphire 8500 LE 128
40 GB Maxtor

Just saw this doing a search. For the same price, I would get the Asus just for reputation. Probably would be slightly faster, too, but I don't know that you would notice in real world applications.

Not the same price for me, so I just got the ECS K7VTA3 new for $46 shipped. Easy install without problems and works great. Don't think you can go wrong.

I am hesitant to recommend any ECS product but having said that if you are considering the ECS product then get at least version 2.X of the board or ver 3.X if available. The Via chipset has better support overall and performance.
I use the Asus A7S333 and works quite fine for me even though it will never be my main box.

the A7S333 is a SIS745 chip I believe.
