Do Not Try To Flash Your BIOS Within Windows, Using the Update Utility, goto
Asus.com download AFlash.exe, the proper BIOS and follow the instructions,
Flash Your BIOS From DOS. The chance of Asus putting in the wrong chip is extremely low, because it would not boot if they used the factory default KT133A BIOS on the chip. However, it's possible that Asus forgot a simple "A" when writing the BIOS. So, just go flash your BIOS from DOS, and it will work out. Make sure aflash.exe is the latest release. Sorry if this is sounding cruel in anyway, but I read your other posts, and there was no need to start this one.

Also, if you're still not sure, take off the HSF off the chipset like 9lives did and check for yourself.
