Asus A8n-sli bios (not deluxe version) - still V1001???

Asus still post the V1001 on their website, whilst the deluxe version is upto V1007.

Alot of these fixes appear to be inherent to both boards, so why is the std motherboard still at 1001, or is the deluxe bios compatable with the std motherboard.

Has anyone tried flashing a std A8N-SLI with a deluxe bios, and does it cure the timing faults.

I am using 4 X 512MB DDR400 ram, but my bios is reporting DDR333 dual channel 128bit, i can't seem to gfet it to run at DDR400, anyomne know why or can post the links to the info??

I've read lots of people have flashed to the deluxe 1006 on the basic boards with no problems at all. Hardwareanalysis.com has a huge FAQ where people have done it with no problems, and there was also an ASUS email hanging around confirming they have now unified development of the BIOS.
