I haven?t visited the forums for a bit and i missed an entire BIOS! So what is up? I'm guessing that their is still no 1t fix and that all that the updates are doing now is allowing you to run the new cores!? Can't wait to see what Asus has been up to. I'll have to flash when I'm done with work!!!

Same here...but they introduced multicore already, so maybe the (mis)fixed something new

Ok, here we go:
1) the multicore support is gone or at least the post screen does not state "1 CPU(s)" anymore
2) all the memory timing options are back
Off to test for 1T now...

Yawn... still on 1007 final here. And even that BIOS showed no kind of improvement really. Wake me up when they release version 1200. Which still wont fix 1T issue prolly.

the same FSB we could reach at 1004 and up... around 250. Any higher at 1:1 ratio and the board gets cranky.

FIX FOR PCPROBE


Try this if your asus pc probe is not working, I did not figure this out my self just ran across it on a forum at planetamd64.
It worked for me.

Guys...at last this problem has been fixed. I got all the advices from the PC Perspective Forum. The probe now runs fine with my mobo. Make a bootable floppy. Copy the awdflash version 1.1 and the BIOS file in the floppy. When updating use this command below:
awdflash 1007sd.bin /CP /CD (u can use any version of the bios, I just used 1007).
It will update the BIOS and after updating the probe will run fine again. For further details check this out :

you can use 1.08 of awdflash but if you do want the 1.11 version it is zipped up with the 1008 bios, and you can get it here.
