i remember getting that email. do you remember how much they were offering the x800xl? i don't recall it being that good of a deal.
this is the first sli motherboard that came out, right? i reckon they're just clearing stock out. i'm still waiting but wouldn't be surprised if they'd need bios updates.
If you got that email, you should know it was 129.99 back in May as quoted here.
For comparison, MC is selling AIW800XL PCI-E for 119.99 + shipping
currently.

got mine in..
and I personally dont like the heat pipes. good idea but with no active cooling the NB gets hotter than the cpu. I don't like that. I am referring to personal experience with an a8n32-sli

Mine came 12 hours ago. Now what do I do? :X This is my 3rd 939 board but I don't have a CPU or DDR400 for it. I'll keep my DFI since it's probably a better overclocker. I can't believe they let them go for $46! $40 if it would have allowed local pick up. I hope they make a price mistake on X2's next.

I may sell mine before I ever use it.
This board does SLI in 8x, 8x, and doesn't that mean that it will perform worse than 16x, 16x depending on the vid cards?

nope- no OCing at all. Running a 7900gt and a x2-4400 stock on that a8n32-sli. If I remember correctly the idle system temp was 49c and the cpu temp was like 44c. I am sure the 7900gt's heat may have attributed to the heat around the motherboard though, but thats all the more reason for more active airflow...
Now as far as this A8N-SLI DELUXE- I need to look and see if my board has the newer fan. the newer fans are great. the older ones are REALLY bad.
