Seems we have to hold on, but anyway, I hardly doubt a performance impact between 1:1 / relaxed timings and divider / tight timings.... cheers

I've isolated the HTT by running CPU and RAM at less than stock and still can't get over 235 with the 1007. 1006 was the same way.

When fiddeling with different bioses, I found it very important to hard-reset the bios after going from 1004 or below, to 1006 (or probably above). Otherwise O/C would be totally screwed up. I did this on my friends A8N-SLI. Personally I'm still running 1004.

A warning though, after resetting the bios with 1006, o/c seemed OK. However, it was now impossible to go back to 1004 or lower, what ever we did.

He means clearing the CMOS/Real Time Clock. See your manual.

I have an A8N-SLI deluxe, running the original bios it came with, the 1002 i think. I haven't really had any problems, and I haven't tried overclocking yet, but it is worth updating to 1007/1008?

I did get annoyed when my ram latencies were like 3-3-3-9 on my Ram which is rated at 2-3-3-6, so I adjusted it manually in BIOS. Is this the 1T problem you guys have been talking about?

1t/2t is in the BIOS with the setting that you already adjusted. It's call command rate and if you?re running the 2t i would witch it to 1t, especially if your not overclocking. The problem with the 1t command rate and overclocking is that it limits your FSB to 250 and below. Mostly the dividers will solve the problem but most of us are to damn stubborn and we want to run 1:1 just to say we can.
