Since purchasing the above equipment, i've never had flash the BIOS from it's original BIOS version, when shipped version 1001. Last night I'd flash it to BIOS version 1011. I did download nVidia Chipset(CK804) driver version V6.65 for Windows XP(WHQL) before flashing to BIOS version 1011. I do not have NVIDEA FIREWALL installed as i did not want it, i have also disabled the onboard sound. I'm using Norton Anti-Virus 2005, and the standard Firewall that comes with Service Pack 2 instead. Right as i was saying. At present my System can go pass the POST, and then asks how to load Windows as it's detected a change in Hardware. No matter what i select it's always rebooting itself. All i like to know is for piece of mind , which is the safest BIOS to use and (if i need to use any utilities) to clean up all traces of Previous drivers. What chipset driver should i be using, as i have downloaded the one mentioned above.
Your imput is appreciated.
