ASUS A8R-MVP stable @325MHz HTT

My board is doing quite well actually. Its been stable at 2.55GHz for quite sometime now. Added another X1800 to the mix a couple days ago, and didn't have to change a thing. I'll hang on to mine for a while I think. I'm going to spend my cash on a new display (actually maybe a used FW900 before they're gone), then maybe think new Mobo.

Yeah... I just bumped to 230x11. I've never had probs with either the HTT freq... it went right up to 330 as the AT article showed, or CPU stability on my 3500+ as long as I didn't go much over 2.7GHz. Just RAM that's been a pain, and I think the problem is that although I had the same OCZ Platinum 2x512 TCCD-based DIMMs as AT, I was running at 1T, and never saw the update to their article.

Currently my 230x11 is only helping the CPU since the RAM divider has their freq down at 180MHz, although with the factory tight timings. I hate tinkering with memory clocks...

OK, I am having a Crossfire issue I can't seem to resolve.

Anyone else running Crossfire and an analog display on this motherboard?

I am experiencing display interference that looks similar to a bad VGA cable, at first I thought it was the dongle itself, but now I'm hearing it may be an issue with these ASUS motherboards using an analog display with Crossfire.

Anyone else seeing the same thing? I see it with my CRT and analog LCD. I'm going to drag my Digital panel out from the bedroom and verify that it is not an issue via DVI.

X1800 Crossfire is what I'm running currently.

i just tried to install that and it killed my motherboard

i hope they send me one without the network problems and without power coil whine.
