Asus A8V-Deluxe Via K8T800Pro supports only 1.5v AGP cards?!!

I just bought a bundle from zipzoomfly.com and got this

When I got the motherboard, I decided to leaf through the manual and it said that it only supports 1.5v video cards. I looked at my geForce 6800OC and it only has one notch (two notches are 1.5v I found out). What.... the....heck. A board this new can't use 3.3v? This is VERY dissapointing, as it's going to cost me money to remedy this problem (probably send the mobo/CPU combo back and get something that isn't currently pissing me off).

Please tell me I'm wrong.

Someone on another message board said that the 6800 OC will automatically switch to a 1.5v usage, is this true? I've been scouring the internet for answers, but I still could use some insightful clarification. I'm in panic mode, help me obi-wan (insert your last name here), you're my only hope.

Um, 1.5V is the newer AGP signalling standard (used for AGP 4x and 8x). 3.3V is only used with archaic AGP 1X/2X cards and motherboards.

The 6800OC definitely uses 1.5V signalling, and is a 4X/8X AGP card. Whatever you saw that told you it was a 3.3V card is wrong.

I have a friend using the same board with a pny 6800nu and it works just fine.

Their site is not totally accurate, and is in fact kind of misleading. There are two notches on the card they show because it can work with both 3.3V or 1.5V. A one-notched card (depending on where the notch is) uses either 3.3V or 1.5V. Any AGP4X/8X card is either 1.5V-only, or can work with either 1.5V or 3.3V. But you'd be hard-pressed to find any 3.3V AGP gear made in the last 2-3 years.
