Asus BT400 bluetooth adapter and Windows 10

I got this branded bluetooth adapter expecting it to work with Windows 10 after a reviewer claimed it worked. However the Bluetooth adapter has some driver issues. It will work from if you install from disk but on next and subsequent boots you get errors and the thing does not work.

Later I have seen many other posting since xmas that this device does not work.

Should I just smash it with a club hammer or has anyone got it working.

I got one of those, and it works fine. I think the drivers installed automatically, since I didn't install any new ones.
Are you seeing the blue LED light up, or is it dark all the time?

It lights up fine. Then you try to pair with a device and it does not happen other than by a reinstall.

Was it paired before? Did you try to remove it, then re-pair it?

I have had isues with mine as well. I was using a bluetooth headset with it and it worked at first but then the headset stopped recieving audio. It would connect and show up in windows but only as a communication device not as headphones and nothing i did could make it work. I am assuming a reinstall of windows will fix it, but i am not going to do that just for a bluetooth dongle. I get a new work computer in a month so i see if it works on the new one.

I can get them working on bluetooth, but on each boot it is a headache to get them connected. I have got them connected now via bluetooth just to try and troubleshoot this problem.
