ASUS Geforce 2 GTS and ABIT KT7->sync problem plz help

[Method]

Hey guys, really hope someone can help me out, cause this is really starting to freak me out.
I have to power on and off for like 10 times and all of a sudden it finaly finds the video card and boots up. It seems like its booting when i dont have a signal to the monitor. Has to do fsck and stuff when i finally get it up. Ive tried reinserting the video card, checked cables etc. No sucsess. Latest bios is on place, so is bios for videocard. Is there settings in the bios that i should look at? Have no clue if there is a power problem to the video card and if Geforce in this case needs more power to give a strong signal to the monitor. When its up and running i dont have any problems, like a shutdown or a blank screen all of a sudden, seems to work fine. But its really a pain right now. Hit me with suggestions, i really need it

Btw, ive tried a new monitor and cable aswell, same problem, just so u know..thx again..

well you may be just SOL. I have an ABIT KA7-100 and Creative Geforce2 64 and I have the same problem. What I have heard is that it is a compatibility issue between the mobo and the card. GeForce2 dont seem to like the abit KA7 or KT7's. Hey if anyone out there has a solution i would love to hear it but i think that we are both SOL

What kind of power supply do you have? I run a 64MB GeForce2 GTS in my KT7 without any trouble. I have an Enermax power supply.

EDIT: I don't know if it will help, but I have the AGP Driving Control set to "Auto" in the BIOS.
