They're all looking good right now (except for the heat/fan problem). Remember to peek at the combo deals (do they stack with coupon?) for all the cards. Some of those combos look pretty good, including a Samsung 1TB drive for $150 and FAR Crucial Ballistix Tracer RAM. Also, one of the other brands (for $35 more) has a remote.

With these awesome deals and the Nvidia price drops, great time to be in the market for a video card no matter which GPU you prefer.

the coupon works fine if you buy the video card by itself..if you are buying a combo..it will not work

I saw this deal yesterday on hard forum and bit on one; thinking about getting a second and runnin crossfire. wish the coupon worked on the combos.

also I think I have done a asus rebate in the past and didnt have a problem. It seems to me that rebates are a lot better than they used to be. nobody likes them but they make purchases worthwhile in the end

ALSO on a side not I used the MS cash back deal (which is a measly 2.8% @ newegg, but gave me an additional $5 and change off of the card!

Apparently you can only use the coupon once, dammit, might have to go for the mobo combo. it said that the coupon had already been used and cannot be used again

Does any one know if the Accelero X2 will fit this a standard HD4850/4870? I've been looking around but have not found any answer. Would be nice if I can reuse this HSF from my X1900XT on one of these newer cards.

Doubt it as it's a difference of 3 generations. However, the high temperatures are because the fan is only set to something like 23%, which can easily be changed to better cool the card.

In any case, the 4850 is now so cheap, another $30 for aftermarket cooler isnt so bad, and the Coolink seems to be extremely adaptable to the various cards
