Glaciator heatsink...

this is a great deal... just pump the fan up to 100% and it's still quiet and cool enuf to oc a bit... u can add hs's to the power ic's if u want, but the hsf is too close to the mem chips for add on's...

unbeatable performance at this price...

and they are screaming in xfire (u can get 2 rebates!!!)... just be sure u have enuf flow in your case to handle the heat... over 17k in 3d06 with a 3.6ghz 6750...

It's good deal considering this has the variable fan with a good heatsink. I noticed lot of 4850 don't even have variable fan which makes them loud.

Is it just me but AMD has higher threshold when it comes to GPU operating temperature?

I noticed that with Nvidia cards I don't want anything over 80C and nothing over 75C when overclocking or else it will crash. With ATI cards I've had them run at 95C without an issue. Then again my last ATI card was 1950pro.

My HD4850 craps out with Volt mod when it gets to ~102. So, yeah, 62C is a joke. I bet the guy also said his level of knowledge is High. lol
I have Palit cheapo card (the short one, with 2 phase power instead of 3). And it runs at 715/2143, 1.25V, 68C Max. This Asus is a hot buy. If I still had my older HD3850, I would jump on this deal. I don't need CrossFire with just an A64X2@3.3Ghz and 19" screen

I just got mine today. It's a little noisy, but not like a mini-vacuum (could just be my shoddy cable management and the poor airflow in my case). Haven't tried OCing it yet.
