The pinout on the USB ports may not be the same as on other boards. You must be very carefull to confirm that before trying to use it. If they don't match then you could damage the MB. Of course, if it allows, you could reconfigure the wires in the plug to match the other MB's pinout and make it work. However, I tend to agree that it is one ugly way to get additional front USB ports. Better off with an "EasyUSB" unit.
