I have the following configuration on my #2 computer:
- ASUS K8N-E Deluxe (754)
- Club3D Radeon 9600XT 128MB
- 512MB DDR
- AMD 64 3000+
- 2xIDE devices
- Antec Sonata Piano Black w Antec's TruePower 380W PSU
PROBLEM:
Low voltage on +12V line > ASUS Probe shows 11,52 on +12V line. I get random blue screens, sometimes while loading windows sometimes while playing etc. Seems like PSU related problem but WHY? I thought that 380W PSU could run such configuration easily! There's one strange thing: if I check voltages from BIOS +12V shows 11,85V but in Windows it's always 11,52... Could it be graphics card that's hogging too much power? But how on earth low-end 9600XT could hog that much power?!?! There's no separate power cable attached to graphics card, it's taking all power from AGP slot...
I really don't understand how this it possible because on my #1 computer I'm running two GF 6600GT's on A8N-SLI MOBO & 3200+ CPU with same Antec case and same 380W power (always 11,712 on +12V line!). Is there something I could do to get more power to 12V line or should I just get more powerful PSU?
PS. Which devices are using +12V line??
