I read an article two days ago, It stated that the Asus M3A79-T Deluxe was being released next week.

Reason for delay was *refining* the bios or something along those lines.

M3A79-T Deluxe = 790FX + SB750 ( AWESOME OVERCLOCKING ABLILITIES )
M3A32 MVP Deluxe = 790FX + SB600 ( Does not overclock worth a damn )

Which type of overclocking does it help in? Is it just the autoclock function of overdrive? My m3a32 mvp is at 280 MHz fsb and havent hit a limit yet on my x2.

Yea, I noticed that yesterday as well. That is not the M3A79 board. That is just some dual socket board. No idea why that picture is there though.

EDIT: If I find this board soon enough, I am canceling the cpu and motherboard in my sig for the Phenom 9950 and the M3A79

Don't know what type of answer I will get, But I just sent a email to Newegg asking when they will receive the M3A79-T Deluxe. Basically if they had any information on it.

Will post when I receive a reply. And they usually reply pretty fast.

Im guessing they will have this in september with the new flush of video cards shipping.

Pretty generic. But I think i will wait on NewEgg. I have a feeling all these other sites are jumping the gun and will drop you an email after you order telling you that it isn't in stock and they will ship it out "as soon as they can".

When NewEgg posts it.. you know they have it.

I just googled it and this store claims to have 4 in stock as of this post.

[edit] well the board keeps removing the URL from the address, even if I make it a link. That's a great feature. :roll: If you google "m3a79-t deluxe" it shows up on the bottom of the first page under 'shopping results.' The other one is the provantage site mentioned above (to which you all were able to post links) but they still say it is backordered.

Yup. September 2nd is what I'm hearing. I am almost positive that every e-store selling them now are juking people with a pre-order. Even the ones that don't clearly state it.

I guess I will be refreshing NewEgg a bunch on Tuesday.

Here it is. Although I don't see what all the fuss is about, the Foxconn board has been out for weeks .
