Asus not providing CUSL2-C BIOS/drivers???

I bought the XTasy GF3 Ti-200 and have been having way to many problems. So I thought I'd update the bios of my mb. Went to asus.com and dug down for the drivers of my CUSL2-C and the page says this, "This Product does not support current driver files."

I can believe they won't support this? This is my third asus board and have never had problems finding drivers for older models.

Q. I have an Intel D815EEA motherboard and I have various problems with the GeForce. What's up?
Unfortunately it seems that this motherboard has various issues with the GeForce, including display corruption and instability. The only advice I can give at the moment is to bug Intel to try and find out what's wrong - these problems don't occur on other i815 motherboards - and don't buy one of these motherboards if you have the choice.

I'm a little confused by the Asus site myself. I have a CUSL2 and yesterday I downloaded a BIOS 1009. I went back today as a double check, and the site seems to have changed. Now all I can find is version 1006a. I also noticed the message that you got when I tried the CUSL2-C link.

I was just getting ready to update to 1009, now I'm not sure.

I'm giving you a bump hoping some Anandtech'ers can shed light on current bios status for these boards.

Hmm, not sure why they pulled the 1009 file but my CUSL2-C with 1009 works perfect with the Visiontek Xtasy GF3 TI200.

Goto this site for the latest tweaked and untweaked Bios's on the 815E chaipsets, I have run many versions from them with great sucess.

Who knows, maybe asus planned for some web site updates this holiday weekend on their US site.

It looks like it makes a difference on how navigate thought the ASUS site as to what drivers you find. I was able to find my way back to the 1009 bios, and it appears to be on an english language site.

The Asus Boards Forum in the link above is a good source of information. I had a bookmark for them but it keep coming up blank. Seems they changed the URL (formally was called CUSL2.COM).

I was getting ready to load XP and wanted to have latest bios. It looks like there is a beta version of 1011 out, but that 1009 is a final? I think I will upgrade to 1009. Anybody know for sure which bios is best with XP?

Also, the only real problem I have been having is with PC Probe. Every now and then it gives me a warning that says my CPU fan has stopped (0 rpm) for a msec, which I know is not true. I downloaded a slighty newer version of PC Probe as well, hopefully it will finally fix that problem.

I get that crap all the time. Its very disappoiting to get these inacurate readings. I've even tried MBM 4.x and 5.x (i think). My fans stop according to all these monitoring tools, but I can see that they haven't. A 5V supply drops to 0 or negative something. I think the asus/intel/award/whoever monitoring system leaves a lot to be desired. My abit never gave continuous flucuations like this one.
