ASUS P6T Raid card issue

Hello everyone,

I currently have an ASUS P6T (updated to the latest bios) with a highpoint rocket raid 2640x4 raid card.

When i have the raid card installed, it initializes fine, however the INTEL ICH10R never initializes. I have tried creating my raid array on the ich10r, then installing the raid card, then booting into windows, but windows never sees the volume on the ich10r. Without the raid card installed, the ich10r works fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have this similar problem. I think Asus needs to update the bios for it to work. Gigabyte boards do not have this problem.

- Could I observe for your signature, that you migrated for Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 X Areca 1220, right ? Did I deduce that in that motherbord the 2640X4 can work with ICH10R , am I right ?

- In case you can help me, it would be very good, because I am in doubt as to buy Velociraptors or SAS Fujitsu. And this subject will define the road.
