Asus P8P67 M Pro

Hearing some early reports that make this mATX mobo sound promising. Haven't seen any professional reviews yet. So far word from just a couple of early buyers over at HF. I have my eye on it. Got the itch to build another SFF rig. Waiting to hear more about it. Anyone here at AT hear anything good or bad about it yet?

I have a 2600 waiting for a home and I'm holding out for a Gene to come out. If the itch gets too bad, I may just 'settle' for this board.

have one and it works fine. I have a 2600k at 4.5 on this board. the only bad thing is that you can't enter exact voltage number, just a +/- from default.
have an old ultra-120 extreme as the cooler. just note that you can only mount the ultra-120 vertically. otherwise, the heatpipe will hit the memory if you have all 4 slot used.

I hear ya, Massive. I'd love to see a Gene version too. I'm thinking a 2500k to help keep costs down some but also thinking 8GB ram this time. Mainly because I been itching to try some animation rendering programs. Actually, I'd love to go 16GB Ram just for the hell of it but thats probably overkill. Start with 8GB and then see how I like it.

I'm guessing if they do make a Gene version it wont release til second half of 2011 but we'll see. We may get a pleasant surprise. Hopefully.

A stable 4.5GHz? Thats pretty darn good! I was thinking using either a H50 or H70 depending on the case I choose. I have an H50 in my SG03 and I really love it.

I've got one as well paired with a 2500k and an 8GB Crucial kit. It's running with a 46 multiplier stable so far though I've left the voltage on whatever Asus' auto settings are and hope to play with it more over the weekend to get that dialed in.

So far the board has been great.

I am using the P8P67-M pro and 2600K in a lian li V351 case, along with a GTX580.
I think it is the only P67 based micro-ATX board around, except for the P8P67-M and an upcoming EVGA board.
It is going well. The OC is at 4.0 I may not go more unless I can control the cpu temp better.
I used the silenx compact cooler which is cheap, and fits the case without modding.

I see that this board supports SLI. When i view the contents of the package on newegg it does not show that it comes with the sli bridge. Can anyone confirm that it has an sli bridge before i order.

It does not come with a sli bridge. Look to your video card for that.
