While playing Titanfall last night my computer experienced a BSOD for the first time in months. It reset itself and came back on like normal. I turned it off properly and went to bed. Today, I can't get it to POST. The VGA_LED light comes on during boot and stays on. Here's what I've tried:
  • -Reseating the video card
  • -Putting the video card in a different PCI slot
  • -Plugging in the onboard vga to my monitor/using no video card
  • -clearing the CMOS

and nothing has worked. I did get a CMOS clear to take one time, and it did finally turn on through the onboard video (my graphics card was not in the machine at the time). So I went into the advanced BIOS settings to set everything back the way I had it and accidentally entered the EZ flash utility. So I exited the utility and the computer hung for a really long time. So I had no choice but to cut the power and try again. Now I can't get it to boot even though I've tried clearing the CMOS a dozen or so times. It should be noted that I did NOT attempt a BIOS flash in the utility, I just went to its screen and then exited.

The VGA_LED lights up and I can't get it to use the onboard video now. Is there a way to force the onboard? Right now I'm trying a CMOS reset again by leaving the battery out for an hour or so. I'll post here if that does anything.

Any help? Thanks

As I said, I'm trying to reset the CMOS again (for the 12th time) by leaving the battery out for a few hours. But I did not start a BIOS flash, I only entered the EZ2 screen. No flash was initiated. If I could get back into the BIOS I'd at least know that the board isn't bricked.

Does anyone know a way to force the onboard video to be used instead of the PCI-e slot? Or does anyone know a way to upgrade/flash the BIOS without the use of a screen?
