Which monitors are those? On my overclocked IPS, I pass the tests:

Sorry for the crappy phone quality and the YouTube stutter. On my screen it's very smooth.
Why would anyone make a fuss about this? Well, 'fuss' is perhaps too strong a word. My issue is that, after
TFTCentral's review of the Swift, some people called IPS fans like myself 'TN bashers' or variants of the same. Look, they said, TFTCentral has shown that TN panels can have effectively as good image quality as IPS; let's put this war to bed.
And I agree, the Swift has excellent colour capabilities for a TN. However, as TFTCentral says, it still suffers from poor viewing angles. Moreover, perhaps Unfortunately, TFTCentral's review does not appear to contain any inversion tests. This is perhaps a little strange, because after TFTCentral's
review of the Eizo Foris FG2421 a year ago, it seemed like such tests were set to become a standard feature of TFTCentral reviews. In the Foris review, inversion artifacts were only an issue when the 'Turbo 240' feature was enabled, but not when enabled. This suggests that it is worth including tests like this for high performance gaming monitors (like the SWIFT), that support high refresh rates, motion blur technologies and other advanced features.
After all, when spending 500-plus bucks on a monitor, you want to be sure that your purchase is genuinely ticking as many boxes as possible.
