The Consumerist had an "insider" post info on Asus tech support. Sounds like Asus is living in a Dilbert world.

Intel, for one. Corsair, for another. Both companies had a return to me within four business days of receiving the defective product sent to them.

I posted this because it seems to me Asus puts a premium on their motherboards compared to other manufacturers. Sometimes I will pay a premium for a one brand over another when I know that brand has good products and good support. Asus, for me, is no longer a brand I will pay a premium for.

Crucial and ATI also have extremely fast RMAs.
Gigabyte is the absolute worst, though. 8 weeks is not uncommon for them.
