No, not really. I still have a Bluetooth GPS from my Nook Color if I cared. It updates my Widgets which is all I really need from the GPS.

Overall it is a great tablet, and the only thing that bothers me is the lack of 5GHz N. But I can live with that thanks to native NTFS support.

Mine should arrive on monday with a bit of luck. As usual we get ripped off on the prices here, £500 for the tablet + keyboard dock including taxes. That's like $800 USD.

i'm supposedly going to get mine soon as well, at least I hope, i got an email from Amazon last week telling me 'Your order is now estimated to dispatch on January 27th'. However i have yet to hear anything else from Amazon.

and the price increase is really because of VAT being 20% when sales tax in the states is about 5%. Factor out our 20% and the tablet with dock would cost $620 USD, or £399 GBP.


wait, i just did a quick search on amazon US, the dock costs an extra $250 USD, and the tablet is $590, thats a whopping $840 USD for tablet and dock, over here it only costs $775 USD (£499 GBP)

HA, who would have thought the combo was cheaper over here, that said, over here we have to buy the dock, they aren't selling it separately.

Bestbuy seems to be able to stock most of the 32gb and the docking in their B&M stores. I picked up the dock there for $149 + tax, yesterday.

Not sure what Asus does, but 3.2.1 on the Tegra 2 TF is far snappier than other Tegra 2 HC tablets. The Samsung Tabs lag like crazy from TouchWiz UX, specially the Tab 8.9. Looking forward to seeing ICS on the TF.

I do, however, still maintain that Asus should have delayed the launch of the Prime a month to launch it with ICS out of the box. And maybe actually have enough manufactured to meet demand.

Stock ICS on the Xoom is pretty smooth so it seems hard to screw up

There is an app drawer stutter my Prime lacks, but otherwise it is about the same.

alright, that sounds a lot more like it, i thought it was a bit odd that anything would be cheaper in britain.
