First, whoever is dreaming of getting this card for $139 - face it, you will NOT. The simple reason is this deal has been publicized all over the web, including price searching sites, that by now there must have been thousands of orders submitted, so even if the store would have been willing to take a small loss, they will not be able to take such a huge loss. Second, it would be interesting to see how the store would handle this mess - most likely they will simply cancel all orders with or without an apology, or even offer some kind of perk as a gesture (highly doubtful), or they could (worst case scenario) charge you the real price instead of $139.

They probably put the wrong price up there, like maybe that's their price they pay to get them, If so then there would be a chance that they would sell them at that price and just not make any money....well until their stock of probably 50 ran out after 5000 orders

Are you kidding me? you honestly believe they get a video card that retails for $600+ for $139!? Think about that for a seccond. By the way this card is AGP so don't go and buy two thinking you'll set it up in SLI configuration. Thats only possible with the PCIe card. Other than that, good luck to everyone out there who's trying to get in on this deal I hope you enjoy your Geforce 6200's + 15% restocking fee. If you're thinking of going in on this dealk, just don't.

I have an invoice that says 6800Ultra. No company would ship a lower end board even if it was a price/description error. They would either automatically cancel or call/email to see if you are interested in getting the real deal (either more money or lower end card). If they just ship a lower end card or charge you for the real price of a 6800Ultra without your permission, any credit card company will take your side and then you would have the card and money back from your credit card company. Then it is the reseller's responsibility to get that card back from you.

Geezzz? You can not be given a 6200 and charged a restock fee if you don't want it. All you'd have to do is show your credit card company what happened and they'd fix it in a second. I've got a screenshot of my order so if I need proof of what I ordered it's all there.

FWIW, I think there's about a .001% chance of this going through.

HTF do you know he's joking? I know someone who ordered 10 of them over 2 CC's.

And if you read just above the post you quoted you'll see I said...

"FWIW, I think there's about a .001% chance of this going through."

I had ordered three, but I checked the status on the PChardware4U website today and saw this message:

"Dear valued customer, we are very sorry to inform you, but your order was cancelled due to price discrepancy. This problem occurred due to a technical malfunction. Price error has since been fixed and corrected. Customer service department."

So, I take this to mean that this deal is over and not real after all. It was worth a try though.

99.99% of these Hot Deals will be pricing errors but I will still go in on 100% of these deals.

Yes, I'm kidding! Seriously though, I like that the company quickly admitted the mistake and notified customers. Gotta give them a  for being honest, fixing the problem, and notifying customers.

With all the wild speculations you guys are making, why not make a positive one?

Maybe they're trying to really kick start things again, and giving them away (kinda like CompUSA did for $150 a week ago or so)?
Or maybe they stole a shipment and are trying to get rid of them ASAP ?
Or maybe the owner is a real enthusiast and wants to contribute to the gaming community?

Whats with all the negativity?
