ASUS VG236HE 120hz Resolutions? BenQ XL2410T

I'm looking for some help from owners of the ASUS VG236HE or BenQ XL2410T. I'm looking for a 120hz monitor that can run 800x600/1024x768 with 120hz refresh rate.

I cannot find any information about the ASUS's max refresh rate at 800x600/1024x768 resolutions, is there anyone who has this monitor who can check? Or someone who knows where this information can be found?

I did find on an old BenQ article at the following link that mentions 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 resolutions capable of 120hz.

Does anyone know of any monitors besides the BenQ that support 120hz at these lower end resolutions? Or any first hand experience recommendations?

i have the ASUS display - three of them.

Is there any reason it won't do 120Hz at less than its native resolution of 1920x1080 (also)?

My lg w2363d runs low resolutions down to 320x200 at 120hz just fine (e.g. old games in dosbox).

I'd love for you to check this if you have time?

Control Panel -> Display -> Change Display Settings -> Advanced Settings
or Alternatively,
Rightclick Desktop -> Screen Resolution -> Advanced Settings

Within that window, on the Adapter Tab, there should be a button on the bottom that says 'List All Modes'

Check within that list if there is anywhere 800x600 or 1024x768 32bit 120hz capable modes?

I have the asus monitor and would be able to check later tonight if Appopin doesnt beat me to it.

I'm also pretty sure 99.9% of the readers of the video card and graphics forums can change the resolution without step by step instructions. lol.

Sorry I Work in IT and I'm used to dealing with employees who can't create shortcuts. But I would appreciate it as well if you tested it later.

At this point I've ordered the ASUS monitor, and one would assume that lower resolutions could run 120hz but you never know

i have the monitor and just confirmed that 800x600 works at 120hz. I have no idea why I bothered to check but i hope this helps

The OP also asked if 1024x768 was also listed @ 32-bit at 120Hz

The below image is what originally had me nervous that those lower resolutions didn't support 120hz. It was taken from the ASUS manual for the VG236H
